The first island we visited was San Benedicto.

- Conditions on the day of my visit: Sunny, but not too hot. With a breeze,
- Personal Notes: This was a day at San Benedicto – all dives (four) were done at a site called “The Canyon”. Conditions at The Canyon can shift from hour to hour; our first dive saw quite a bit of surge with poor visibility. As the day went on, visibility got better and the surge lessened. Silvertip sharks were plentiful later on in the day.
