An extended Labor Day weekend to the Bahamas, diving with Fred of Grand Bahama Scuba! The many bumps in the road on this trip included most of the people actually scheduled to go on the trip coming down with something prior to the trip, so only three of us (me, my Sister, and a friend of hers named Mae) went - which was great, since Fred ended up with full boats due to other divers every day we were there. Also, we ended up with a room each completely to ourselves, as our accomodations were with the Ocean Reef Yacht Club, where Grand Bahama Scuba is based out of.

Unfortunately, the other problem with this trip was that three days of diving were scheduled ... and midway through the second day, my allergies kicked in and I had to forego the third day.

On To The Dives

  • August 31, 2002 (Tunnels - Shark Junction - Silver Point)
    • My Birthday! Woo hoo! 32 in the Bahamas, yeah Baby! Fred was nice enough to "give" me a dive for my Birthday.
  • September 1, 2002 (Theo's Wreck - Papa Doc's/Badger)
    • It was a good day. It would have been an awesome day if it weren't for my nose seemingly imploding in on itself.
